Whilst checking out some info on dry baking I came across a YouTube clip of a guy making a Ramen Bomb.
Basically the recipe calls for a packet of instant noodles, instant mash potato and Spam combined in a pot.
Apparently high energy but wondered if people know of a substitute for canned spam that would have life out of a fridge and be of less weight?
In the US you can by single use packets of spam but not in Oz.

Go to an Asian grocery store, especially a Korean store. They have little 90 to 100 gram cans of pork. I have tried one the chili pork cans, and it was nice, there is also braised pork if you are not into chili.
There are also 150 g packets of meat in retort pouches (come in yellow boxes, make sure you buy the meat, not the sauce pouches that also come in yellow boxes) that are pretty good. I normally have the meatballs with couscous or mashed potato, but they also have sweet chili chicken and teriyaki chicken. There are some pork ones as well, but I can't remember if I found any that were delicious or not.
