What3words - easy way to remember a specific location

Thu 04 Jul, 2013 3:18 pm

Nice idea for remembering locations. 3 random words to identify any location on the planet. Beats trying to remember lat/long!

Address system 'what3words' can pinpoint any spot on Earth with a three word code.

I love the concept, but the names are fragile. For example if you type "fred.eat.noodles" instead of "fred.eats.noodles" you don't just end up in the next square, you end up anywhere in the world. Auto-correct is going to cause some embarrassing mistakes!
