Oruxmaps and waypoints

Postby gbedford » Sun 22 Aug, 2021 8:20 pm

I have managed to get OruxMaps working on the phone with the help of Keith.
There are many things I have yet to work out but the major one is how to use UTM coordinates to create a waypoint.
I know how to create a waypoint using the map by clicking on the button, but not how by typing in the Easting and Northing coordinates.
I could do that on my old Garmin so I hope it is possible using OM.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

A cool feature which made a big difference for me is the ability to have transparent menus and buttons. Provides a lot more map visibility.

Use the custom background colour in settings/user interface/colours. Make the colour transparent it's the white/grey square colour.

Thanks Keith.
Your instructions were just what I needed.
I will try the transparent buttons.
