So close. If it was preferential voting (and not first post the post) one of those great shots of Rhona would have prevailed but with a split Rhona vote I snuck in. (Same thing happened the last time I won a couple of years back when the vote was split between two amazing shots of the Eldon range).

Nah beardless, you earned it. I expected you to be further ahead in the voting on that one - it's a marvellous shot. I never quite managed to get that angle up there.

Thanks NNW. I used a wide angle lens (at 12mm on a cropped sensor) and may haveheld the camera out in front of me to get the perspective. I have never been to Rhona but your and MJD's photos show howbeautiful a place it must be. Must have been a treat to be there in that light.
