Woohoo, thanks autobot!

Would have felt ripped off if I walked the Arthurs without a win.
Sorry NNW, your pic is so much better in so many ways, thanks to the frost I think!!!! Just imagine how nice your pic would have been if you started with me

Congratulations Dan :) ! I enjoyed this and the other stunning images you posted in the gallery.
Special mention to all other entrants, I thought it was a particularly inspiring series of shots this month.

Naaaah, Dan, you deserved it. Mine's a bit too much of an ordinary stock-standard mountaintop photo.
I know I should have tried one of the more 'interesting' shots, but I loved that view. (And the weather that day). And it wouldn't have been as good if I'd started the same time as you, because the weather was pretty ordinary the previous day. :P

I'm happy to have come so close. Just one miserable vote . . . :x

That's why I deserve the win, trudging up Moraine A in hail and then snow!!! Cygnus would have looked downright ordinary the next day

Thanks John, a fantastic set of pics indeed, loved Pteropus, ollster's and Blister's pics in particular

Actually, I've changed my mind, 'cause I think you insulted my photography in another thread. It's not about the camera, it's about what you do with it. If my shot was better in any way it wasn't because of the gear I was using, it was because of how I used it.
Honestly! *flounces off in a huff, plotting revenge*

No. Next year sometime, maybe. If I'm lucky. But not before.
