This is the topic for any discussion of the photos people post to the January competition (for the sake of leaving the competition topic purely for entries to the competition).

About now is when I get really cheesed off that I have some really neat shots taken on the 31st December...

Maybe we should consider (for some time well separated from the January competition) an overall 2007 competition?

Was just looking through our images and can't actually find any bushwalking type shots from January. Oh well, there's always next month.

A good idea, and perhaps half a dozen or so photos allowed per entrant?
Shame to have to select just one photo for the whole year.
I bet I'm not alone in the thought of struggling to pick just one photo for all of 2007.

Yeah, that makes sense, but in order to avoid having too many photos for the voters to choose from, we should probably limit it to say 3 photos per person? If there's a large number of entries, I may also allow, say, 3 votes per person.
