Postby melbourne-walks10 » Sun 21 May, 2017 3:34 pm

Hello everyone.

Looking to do the Overland Track in early July. Wondering if anyone else is planning on doing it at this time of year?

Regards,

Hi there. My daughter and I are planning on arriving in Davenport (S.O.T.) on the morning of 29th June.

The plan is to get on the trail that day as we will not have a vehicle with us.
I have posted on the forum already looking for a lift/vehicle share to the trail head.

Let me know if perhaps we could share some transport. Happy to pay fuel etc.........

Cheers Lee and Lila. :D

Hello Lee,

I am just waiting on confirmation from my friend getting leave from work but we are looking at starting the track on the morning of the 2nd July. Happy to share costs but we cannot start on the date you propose.

Hi, Im looking at getting on the Track on the 1st July. Two of us are driving from Hobart and leaving a car at Lake St Claire then getting a shuttle to Cradle Mountain to start the walk. The shuttle is $400 minimum or $100 per person over that. We would love some people to split costs with. Let me know if you are keen.
