The Best Time Ever ?

Postby Mechanic-AL » Sat 05 Feb, 2022 10:32 am

A couple of weeks ago the OLT was fully booked. A quick peek at the bookings now shows a huge number of available bookings
That filthy pox is certainly messing with a lot of bushwalking plans.

With the numbers so low this must be the best opportunity ever for the locals to get out there and enjoy it all in peace and quiet !!

On the 27th JAN, it was mentioned the Overland Track is back to full capacity of 34 walkers a day. Of course getting covid or being a close contact would reduce numbers. I'm planning a September trip.
