Once again overnight Snow has settled at Cradle Valley through to Great Lake.
Still snowing at the moment.

Snow has settled on the higher peaks and on the ground around Cradle Valley after a cold snap last night.

A slight dusting of snow on Cradle Mountain and surrounding higher peaks this morning.

Very White from Great Lake through to Cradle Mountain this morning.
The Dove Lake Web Cam is frozen over.

Snow covered roads above 700m will make driving conditions dangerous.

Good snow falls over night have covered the ground at Cradle Valley through to the Western Tiers.

Tasmania Police advise motorists of the following road weather alerts;
The North West Coast, Western, Central Plateau and Upper Derwent Valley has experienced snow covered roads with snowfalls to 300 to 400 metres making driving
conditions dangerous during Sunday.
ROADS CLOSED
Lyell Highway – Road Closed between Wayatinah and the Queenstown. Only open to motorists with 4WDs and chains.
LAKE DOBSON TOURIST ROAD
LAKE ST CLAIR TOURIST ROAD
Pinnacle Road Mt Wellington – Gate Closure at Bracken Lane
Poatina Road between Poatina Village and Highland Lakes Road is CLOSED due to ice and snow.
4WD only:
Highland Lakes Road – EXTREME CAUTION FOR SLIPPER CONDITIONS HUNTERSTON TO MIENA
14 Mile Road, Tarraleah to Tungatina – 4×4 with chains only.
MARLBOROUGH Road – EXTREME CAUTION FOR SLIPPERY CONDITIONS THROUGHOUT
STRATHGORDON ROAD – black ice patches.

Snow settled overnight from Ben Lomond through to the higher Peaks on the west coast
And low down on Mt Wellington.
Ice is finally left the webcam lens at Dove Lake.

Yesterday afternoon and overnight snow has blanketed much of the state.
Webcam is frozen over at the moment.

A good dump of Snow overnight has turned the country side white from the West coast through to Great Lake.
Plenty of snow on the ground at Cradle Valley.
