A question for anyone who ordered a quilt in 2021 and have received it.
How long did it take from the ordering date to receiving it.

I have received mine today, June 30, 2021. I paid the deposit on March 11. So, about 3 and a half months.

This is what I bought:

-8 regular length, wide width, zip footbox, 950 hyperDry down, burnt orange 10D both shell and inner, plus 5L stuff sack.

Weight, in the stuff sack, including straps, is 633g.

Love it! The fabric is translucent, so I can see exactly where the down is distributed.

Actually, I originally ordered the regular-width, but Mike made a mistake and made the wide-width, so he offered it to me at the same price as the regular-width.
He offered to make another, regular-width, if I really wanted that, but no way was I going to wait any longer!
But I reckon that his mistake is a boon for me, as the wide gives that little bit of extra room, making it quite feasible I reckon to use without the straps, so I went with the wide.

I asked Mike about the delay in manufacturing, and he admitted that he is struggling. He said that he will complete the current batch, then take a break. He is already on a hiatus since last year, but has still been processing orders, just very slowly.

I should not be making statements on his behalf, he did not authorize me to do so. But I know that so many people want to know what is going on. Until Mike posts a status update here, it looks like he will not be accepting any further orders for awhile.

I will send him a pm, ask if he approves of this post. If not, will modify it accordingly.

Very slowly is good. Much better than hurrying.

Michael seems to be diligent and well organised, so the best thing is to simply leave him to deal with stuff. I'm sure we will receive an update from him in due course.
