Would dig a quilt man.. done my research and found your the best value worldwide! Not to mention they look the most badass out of all of em.

I’m after a Acai Purple and Cadmium Yellow quilt with zip and drawcord footbox, in -2C 800 goose down.

Is $350 still the going rate? I’d imagine inflation has bumped up the price since back in 2017.

Just checking with everyone in the queue: has anyone been contacted by Mr Undercling in, say, the past year?

I paid a deposit for a quilt back in April 2021 and was told by Mike directly that it would be an approximate 6 week wait.

Since that date, I have heard no correspondence from Mike and he has failed to reply to any of my follow ups. Mike has not visited this forum since November 2021.

I don't think I will ever get the quilt delivered, nor my deposit back. I would therefore consider this project to be abandoned.

I wonder if there are any other forum members whom are in the same boat?

I would recommend going to Tier Gear instead (whom actually deliver as promised).

I do agree, however, that the duration of radio silence suggests it is time for Plan B.

Thanks for raising these concerns.

One of our moderators reached out to Mike to check on his welfare.
Mike acknowledged the delays, seems very sorry and that he is planning on completing existing orders.
He has stopped accepting new orders but hopes to leave a comment here.

I plan to close the thread within the next few days.

Hi everyone, first of all I want to apologise to the people who have an outstanding order with me or anyone who has tried to contact me or reached out to check in and didn't receive a response. I've been really struggling with getting any work done and especially with handling any correspondence. In the next few days I'll message people who have outstanding orders to see if they'd like to keep their order or cancel and have the deposit refunded.

Once I've handled any outstanding orders I do want to continue offering quilts, however think I will at least temporarily change up the model to offering ready made quilts (or ready to fill so as to give a choice of down options and extra fill) so that buyers will have confidence in receiving a quilt in a timely manner and to reduce the pressure on myself. Once I'm in a position to do that I'll start a new thread.

Thanks for that, Michael. I figured you must be doing it tough, as my experience has been that you do excellent quality work, and have provided outstanding customer service in the past. Ready-to-fill quilts sound a more manageable idea when you're able. Take care of yourself, and all the best.

When you re-launch your business, why not raise your prices? That will reduce the demand a little, and reduce the pressure on you while maintaining the same income. There's clearly plenty of demand for your products.
