Useless. I've used 1:50k with 20m intervals on the mainland. It's bad enough there with less complicated topography. In Tassie it will be nightmarish.
Probably a good time to stock up on 1:25ks and cherish them for the rest of your lives.

Hmmm, maybe that's it - a cunning marketing ploy by Tasmaps . . .

NNW I would not be surprised if there will be a run on tasmaps. I just purchased Anne, Scott, and the maps for the Western Arthurs after reading this...

I have most of what I need, but there are some bits of the west and south west that aren't covered by my collection. Time to spend some money, methinks . . .
