Hi,
I'm hoping to get off the road a bit next week as I walk to St Helens and am wondering what the inlet crossings are like between Policemans Point and The Gardens?
I have a very heavy pack (gear for 12 weeks walking) so I need to choose between following the beaches if the inlets are not deep or road if there is a risk I will end up needing to back track.
Your advise and reports of current conditions are greatly appreciated
