Judds Cavern

Hello all,

We were up around the Cracroft valley recently and noticed the old track to Judds cavern, and noted it in Chapmans guide.
It is listed there as a part of Wargata Mena Aboriginal Site.
A general search found very little info except that it was a stencil site.
Caving info noted that it is a 1.6km stream cave with other smaller caves around in the scrub.
Is anyone aware of how one may go about visiting the area , if indeed it is possible at all.

Judds Cavern is certainly a very interesting place. In the old days (early 80's) it was a common campsite on the way to Moss Ridge or the Craycroft River. The actual cave itself looks like a railway tunnel coming out into the rainforest. It was easy to wander inside with candles or torch - and easy to walk for 100's of metres along a large open passage. I think the cave was pretty well explored by spelios in the mid 70's when the Farmhouse Creek track was cut.
