Access - Westrope Road

Curious - does anyone know if the washout on westrope road has been repaired & the road reopened??

Where abouts?? I was up Higgs Track the other day..fine in a 2WD

Resurrecting this post - has anyone been to Western, Syds or Mother Cummings Peak tracks via Westrope Rd since the storms we had recently? My chainsaw is currently out of action. :roll: Thanks for any info.

I’ve got one you can borrow Tortoise. I’m in Launceston. Not sure about the road sorry.

We have a damper forecast for this arvo now, the friend I'm taking would rather wait for a better day, understandably. By then I should have mine back. :)

Very little damage in that area. Did Syds Western creek circuit a few weeks ago and barely stepped over a sapling. There was a report on the parks website of a tree blocking the Mother Cummings track but we didn't go that far.
