coming down via Raglan Range looks to save a fair bit of time. Scrub does look thick though getting down from Flat Bluff onto Raglan. But only a short section..

Hello

Has anyone done the Irenabyss variation of the Frenchmans Cap trail in winter? Just wondering if this is possible due to snow/ice and whether the Franklin river crossing would be too dangerous.

Thanks

It depends on rainfall, but there's a reason they don't do rafting trips down the Franklin at that time of year.
