budget commercialse muti day walks

Thu 12 Nov, 2020 9:11 am

Hi guys,
planning to come to tasmaina to do any muti day hike at end of december. The original plan was overland or three cape but both sold out for that period. i have done both before a few years back.
looking at maria island now but that $2.8k ( last resort).
there another self guided maria island thing for 1k but you cant walk it alone.
solo traveller. i much prefer something similar to overland.
not into planning much just fly in do a walk then fly out.

is there other budget commercialse walking trail.

There are a number of other operators. Off the top of my head, these are the two that spring to mind:

Contact them and see what they have available.

I know that at least one of them has senior staff active on this forum.

Try self guided Walls of Jerusalem or Frenchmans Cap.
Neither are strenuous.

Maria can easily be done as an independent walker, as long as you have camping gear. Only cost then is ferry and parks pass.

You'll bump in to others along the way. These guys also seem to have always have reasonable pricing and a good list of places https://www.twe.travel/

That's an obscene amount of money those exclusive huts charge for their own little shut off areas. good to see you don't need to go that far.
