Bushwalk Australia

Last week I made an attempt to walk out to Cape Degerando but we were beaten by scrub and walls of rock.
I'm just wondering if anyone has walked out there and can offer any advice on suitable routes.

I've been out there fishing, it's really quite nice. I also thought about doing some of track walks on the end Freycinet but have always bailed and taken the easy option!!
