hammocking in tasmania

Hello,
i'm new
and by pure luck a found this site. I got some questions.
I will be in tasmania in april. (i'll be in New Zealand before that) and i wanted to do some hikes, i was thinking of the overland, frenchman caps and if a have more time left freycinet. The south coast track is to expensive to get there. Oh yeah, i'll be traveling btw, 2 months NZ, 2 months Australia.
Now i heard i'm not allowed to use my hammock in the tracks? Is that so? Also is see wooden lpatforms?? If i can't use my hammock on those track i'll need a ultralight 1 person tent...
Can anyone confirm that i'm not allowed to hammock?
