Where to go for 2 months?

Greetings!
im heading to tassie with the car from melbounre with a friend. we are planing on spending a good amount of time over there (2-3 months) and spend as much time outdoors as possible.
Whilst my friend and I will do some hikes and stuff we are really looking for a quiet, chill spot(s) to sort of base ourselves.
Any suggestions for places that are by a river, are secluded, not too far away from the car (maybe an hour or 2 walk) so we can carry stuff like fly rods and luxury items
our trip is a long one so would like to spend a week or 2 at the same place if it were possible (and cheaper.. am on a bit of a dirtbag budget), maybe even a few day walks too
also, I am a rock climber too and i heard of some bouldering at Bluff River Gorge but I cant find much information on any trails there.
apart from the we do hope to do a few overnight hikes but are fairly unequipped (bulky tent ect,,) but your site is resource enough for me to find some good hikes I think.
thanks for all the info ive got from this site so far!
very excited about this trip! will be my first time to tassie
