Pine Lake - Deep Lake - water?

Postby nickthetasmaniac » Thu 01 Mar, 2012 10:19 am

Hi everyone,

I've been pondering doing a bit of a traverse of the CPCA and WoJ, starting at Pine Lake, and I just had a quick question regarding water... Does anyone who's spent time in this area know if there are permanent water sources between Pine Lake and the Deep Lake/Second Bar Lake area? I've never walked this bit before and it looks rather dry on the maps...

Cheers, Nick

I'd be astounded if there was no water out there. Listmap indicates streams all over the place. From doing some walks west and south of that exact spot, I'd say the chances of not finding water once an hour were next to zero even in summer.
