Looking for information from Aussies who have done the John Muir Trail (or the PCT). I've done a couple of small sections, have friends with alot of experience in the Sierra and have done plenty of reading. I'm just interested to hear people thoughts on gear, food drops, transport etc. particularly coming from Aus.
Really, i'd just love to hear stories and maybe see some photo's!

The John Muir Trail goes through a really beautiful part of the planet. I've done most of the trail, as part of three 8 day walks. One of these was quite off trail however. I have photos and some notes online -

This is a good guide -

Beautiful photos and great report as always Dave. Is there anywhere you haven't walked?
