Another long distance walk worth considering....immersed within a completely different culture.
6 - 10weeks in length.
Best times to visit, April to early June (Spring) & Sept to early November (Autumn)
Learn a few basic words before you go to soften the culture shock.
Guide book, Facebook page & a few blogs are out there on the internet for those with long distance wanderlust.

Hi Jobell...i wish....at the moment my sights are set on the Cedar Bay track below Cooktown, the Wet Tropics walk north west of Ingham & maybe a few peaks in & around Cairns...after the job in weipa has run its course. Hopefully that doesn't push me to far into the hot & sweaty 'build up/wet season. Fingers crossed.
It's on my wishlist...diving headlong into the korean culture, hot springs & fooling a few of their beautiful trout species while walking along the backbone of South Korea...sounds like a great way to spend a few months.

We can both put it on our wish lists then! Your upcoming walks sound pretty awesome too...hope to read a trip report or two on here maybe.
