I've posted from this locality before. I'm a relatively short walk from town.

No, I'm not in BC. Head east. Just need the name of this major river.
I was actually able to follow this local trail on google maps last night to this exact spot.
Even that flooded tree was there! Bonus points if you get the name of this trail on the outskirts of town.

Not the Columbia. I'm probably no more than 2km walk from downtown where I've posted from, or near, a couple of times.
I passed a pair of very small lakes on the way here.

Yes I assumed not a lot of clue analysis was going on. But your guess is correct this time.

The photo is indeed looking at a stretch of coast that the Pembrokeshire Coast Path travels along, but the photographer is not on the path.

Correct, this is from Skomer Island looking across St Brides Bay towards the city of St Davids and the hills of Carn Llidi (left) and Carn Perfedd (right).

Well worth a visit, particularly if interested in these little fellas:

Looks like a great spot. Large populations of both Puffins and Manx Shearwaters I believe.

Reminds me of the Marlborough sounds, so for an opening bid I'll say Princess Charlotte Sound.

Nailed it Greg, but you somehow managed to demote her . Actually Queen Charlotte Sound. Having sailed from Picton I'm on the outer part of it.
Not 100% sure but I think the foreground feature may be called "The Twins". All yours.

Haha, no offence intended Queen Charlotte wherever you are now ( off with his head!) I would have been safer sticking with the local name of Totaranui. I don't have any suitable pictures right now, anyone else can gave a go.
