Not nibelung or the castle. Owen is the most prominent feature from this spot, but looking in the other direction.

Is that shrouded gods in the background? Can't figure out where it is without a map though. Could be looking accross the Clyde to darri head?

Very close. Got the right idea but a bit off. Your thinking a bit too far to the east.

Could be looking at nibelung, but again not an aspect I'm familiar with. Maybe from the ridge off the south of Owen? Or from accross the yadboro (eg wiritin) with some zoom?

You were so so close. Now you've gone way to far west. It's a very prominent one. Not much zoom used here.

This pic too hard? Thought it would be easily recognised given its shape in the area. Can post something else.

Nah not too hard and to be honest was looking at it on my phone, not paying much attention to the cliffs at the bottom right.... have seen them plenty of times before and I'm pretty sure that crooked falls is just out of shot on the right, with Donjon looming up behind. Still not 100% on the origin of the photo - I've most often seen that view from Folly Point although there would be quite a bit of zoom in that photo if that's the case and i'm not sure if the angles are right?

Getting the land marks right just not from folly. Although I was there earlier that day. That should pretty much give it away.

Have resorted to consulting the map, and looking at the angles on Donjon and Flying Fox Gully, still come up with... Folly Point. Could be Island Mountain I guess (which I've been around via Sluice Box, but not on top of) but the "earlier that day" clue wouldn't work. Maybe I'm not being granular enough... so maybe Watsons pass or near the camp cave below Watsons? (I tend to lump Watsons Pass and Folly Point as being essentially the same feature, albeit separated by a few hundred metres).

Hahaha that will do. Was on the last spur about 500m from sluice box on side of island mountain. We'd come in from sassafras, dropped down Watsons after lunch at folly and photo was taken late afternoon some time. All yours.

Nattai will do... probably not enough obvious background to warrant further detail (was somewhere near stepover crossing from memory?). Over to you
