Yes It's Elysia. I was just about to post photos of Geryon and Acropolis looking across the lake when you posted.
It seems you always get mine, ILUV. Do you reckon EGGS keeps statistics on that?

No, the sky's a bit overexposed. Apart from that it's not bad.

No, stupid weather and total lack of organisation scared me off, I did finish another sleeper wall though... well I almost did before I found an enormous, engine sized piece of concrete buried in the slope right where I had to run a sleeper. One solid hour of chipping with a block buster already and about 1/4 of the way through it.
At least it's not reinforced with steel, that's what I keep telling myself.

No stats on this comp for a few years now.
I am only keeping them going on the Aus comp.

Looks like you might be 10 mins down the Labillardiere Peninsula on Bruny Island - coming over the ridge top to the SW facing slopes so you can get a view to the SW on the Pineapple Rocks track

I haven't walked that track nor been to the Labillardiere Penninsular, not far off though.

Sure is, decided I could quite happily build my dream home there!

Lets try this one
Rough location please:
Mon 26 Mar, 2012 5:34 pm
Somewhere near Turrana heights or peak??
Mon 26 Mar, 2012 5:41 pm
Not bad, but not close enough.
Mon 26 Mar, 2012 5:59 pm
I believe that's Turrana Bluff on the skyline. Perhaps from along the shores of Long Tarns - about the middle point where you can cross over them.
Mon 26 Mar, 2012 7:28 pm
That is right and wrong.
I will give it to you because I am on the plateau top on the north side of the Long Tarns and there is not much to go on in this one.
But the peak is actually Mt Jerusalem
Mon 26 Mar, 2012 8:47 pm
Ah, I let ILUV mislead me. I was in that area in February and after looking at my photos I can now see it is Mt Jerusalem. We crossed from Long Tarns via Daisy Lakes to Walls and I have some similar profiles but not as nice as yours.
I will be too busy at work tomorrow to play so someone else might like to take a turn.

Hahaha dont blame me!!! I hate pics from the plateau, nice area for walking... but it's all so oh so oh the same......

Dont you twist my words Brian!! I like your photos just fine.... it's that ruddy central plateau I dont like pictures of... as i said, nice area, just all looks the same...

Umm - yep - that's where I took 'em.
Seriously - its a delightful garden walk with some quite distinctive variety.
If it mists in - it becomes a grand survival/route finding exercise.
But since its gone quiet and you will hurt yourself by looking at this

- where am I now?
Tue 27 Mar, 2012 11:22 am
are you at Turrana Heights?
Tue 27 Mar, 2012 11:24 am
Shazcol - Yes, We were skirting around to the pass under Turrana Heights [but did not get to the top] - so over to you
Tue 27 Mar, 2012 11:34 am
Not much on offer here recently, how about this?

- Mt Ironstone. Taken from last saddle before the trig, looking at the Walls of Jerusalem with Mt Jerusalem on Left.
