Correct.

Sorry looks like I broke the game.

Does anyone recognise this? On a well known (currently closed) track in NSW. This was from 2018. I didn't see it when I was passing through in 2019 - hopefully it's still there and I was just unobservant.

I can't remember seeing it. Is it in the Wild Dogs?

This would be about 20kish from the wild dogs as the crow flies, but closer to 50km if you stuck to existing tracks.

Assuming you were walking towards Jenolan, maybe near Megalong Creek just past the cemetery?

That is a reasonable assumption, but in this case, it's incorrect.

Is that the Black Range camping ground? If you want more particulars that's OK - I don't recognise the totem pole but it's interesting.

that's good enough. The totem pole is (or at least was) on the side of the road somewhere between jenolan caves road and the black range campsite.

Not Twynam. This is somewhere between the two. And equally easy to get to.

Doesn't look right for Carruthers, or Lee. I've been on Northcote, have a similar image but with little snow, let's try that.

From memory Clarke is the only rounded one in that immediate cluster with a flat summit.

It's a bit deceptive as it's looking uphill towards a summit that isn't really all that rounded, just has that appearance with the combination of angle and snow cover. So not Clarke either. Not too many other easily accessible peaks in that little cluster...

So has to be Mueller, which I discounted as too pyramidal.

Yep its Mueller, maybe 100 or so meters from the pass heading towards the summit. The actual "peak" is hidden and makes it look flatter.

Thanks, that was hard work. I've been up all of them, but not Muellers for many years.

Some more visual relief from the heat.
