It will have been Sandbanks Tier from the Quarry directly below [West] the highest point (1401m). The road runs very close to this.

I think your Lake might be Lake Adelaide north shore?

I see it now on the google, a huge quarry somewhat off Poatina Rd.
And you are correct with L Adelaide, looking S from the N end.

Ive got a feeling I was standing next to you when you took this one - or very close by.
Kind of gives me an unfair advantage so I won't jump in just yet.

Not Ooze - a bit farther north

Scrubmaster - Yes - I was tossing up whether I should put the great shot I have of you seemingly hovering over the water.

A very scrubby walk along a somewhat overgrown track.
Curious though - my map showed this track [which is now overgrown and probably rarely used],
but did not show the track to the nearby peak - which is really good and well used.

This one is probably quite easy to pick. I haven't been able to take many photos recently due to poor conditions on my recent walks. Hopefully I get a good run soon.

There was a waterfall on the Adamson's track? No it is not - the only waterfall I saw up there was the melting snowdrifts flowing down the track

This waterfall does not require walking uphill at any stage. There may have been a waterfall on Adamson's, but it was dark when I walked up, and I was travelling at the speed of light coming back down. I may have just missed it.

I really have no idea, not much of a waterfall person.

Gotta be someone out there who has an interest though?? This one looks quite small...

I'm not normally a waterfall person. This one was on the way up a very prominent peak in southern tassie, not near mt field though.

hmmm North of Snug, but in Southern tassie.....

Only other place I can think you've been lately is Snowy South. Cant recall any waterfalls up there though!! ??

maybe once you finish the peak bagging you start the waterfall bagging - or are you going to complete all 1000 odd peaks first? This one is not very far from my house - but thats only a clue if you know where I live.

Seeing as only 2 people have managed to finish the list to date, I think one list is enough of a lifetimes work! Took the first guy 25 years, the second around 10 or 11.
And they both had ALOT of help in getting to some of the more remote peaks.


Yer your in Fern Tree area somewhere I think??
