My research suggests it’s Peter Iredale shipwreck, Fort Stevens, Oregon.

Yes, it was at Everest Base Camp. No tents in October, just hordes of people who must have stepped aside for me.

Sorry for the delay.

Canada, the name of the falls seen, in this photo, from an unusual viewpoint, but the falls are quite well known.

No idea, but this seems to have a rock climbing route on it that looks to get to a similar position - Takakkaw Falls, Yoho NP BC.

Edit: This guy confirms my suspicions:

Yes, the crux is getting past the slow parties.

Are you in the Sierra's?

Although I feel one would have to dig a crevasse first on that remnant to fall in one.

You'd have no problem passing me. I'd be standing at the bottom admiring the view.
A long way from the Sierras. I did walk a bit further in after I saw MTBs going down there.
There are a few big cracks in it when you get closer.

Hm, chossy rock, tiny, remnant glacier, way north of the Sierras, are you in Alaska? Although that is a teeny, tiny glacier for Alaska.

Definitely not.

I am in Alaska. I did see a lot of magnificent glaciers there, this one is probably an exception.
Probably a bit tough without more detail. Here is a shot I took about 15 mins earlier on the trail, looking to my left.
Please excuse the smoky view, there were some major fires in the area at the time:

Well that's the Alyeska Resort, just out of Anchorage I think.

There's some glacier remnants scattered around the ski field. Are you up there ?
