Looks like there is no rush on this one, it could be the end of the trail.

Not Vancouver Island commando although I did pass it later in this trip. You're in the right general region but wrong country.

Well, maybe Haines small boat harbour then. I've not been there but I'm looking at that covered ramp leading down to the pontoon jetties which kind of tells me that there must be big tidal variations there, also the cruise ship in the background.

Correct Greg. I'm not 100% sure about the tidal variations, but the proximity to Glacier Bay and surrounding snowbound mountains suggest that it's likely.

Yeah, that is not a vertical photo, that PNG strip IS vertical!
Nah, just kidding, this is the perfectly horizontal grassy strip at Kokoda. One of the Otters I once flew on into this strip subsequently crashed, not sure if this is the one. Over to you John.

Thanks Greg, it amazes me how many non-bushwalkers decide to undertake Kokoda. Often historical or family reasons I guess.

Somewhat risqué name given by early French-Canadian trappers.

With a clue like that, it suggests you are in the Grand Tetons.

Yes eggs. This is on the trail between the Murie Ranch and park headquarters. That's too obscure for the game so I only needed the name of the background range.
The historic ranch is worth visiting for anyone interested in conservation, https://www.nps.gov/grte/learn/historyculture/murie.htm

I'm assuming this is on the Tour Mont Blanc? I keep coming up with Aiguille du Midi which we've had before, but that looks different and has a large tower.

You could see Aiguille Du Midi from this peak - but it is on a different range.

There is another view of this peak from the south in the game - 29th March 2017.

That implies Aiguilles Rouges, which is not labelled on Google Maps for some reason. Although it does come up if you search for it by name :?.
And I still can't find a single image even close to matching this view .

If you look carefully at that earlier image you will see the buildings on a point lower than the bulk of that range - but I do actually name the specific peak in that entry. :)

Yes I found the entry. My frustration was that I couldn't validate the image independently.
I feel very undeserving, someone else can go next.

You shouldn't let that Brevent you.
It was our first peak on the first day of the Tour Mt Blanc.
We had a morning tea at the top in thick fog.
But anyone can go next.
