No idea where your photo is, GregG. It looks fairly generic apart from the island in the estuary.

But your photo epitomises of the first verse of Dorothea McKellar's poem "My Country" - the verse they omit from the version taught in primary school:

The love of field and coppice
Of green and shaded lanes,
Of ordered woods and gardens
Is running in your veins.
Strong love of grey-blue distance,
Brown streams and soft, dim skies
I know, but cannot bear it,
My love is otherwise.

I love a sunburnt country... (etc)

It might be Whitton Island in the Humber Estuary, in which case you are looking across the Humber towards Scunthorpe from perhaps South Cave.

Ribuck, your Dorothea Mackellar quote is particularly insightful in that GregG via his ancestors does in fact have have this particular scene "running in your veins".
That's the Humber in the background, that's Whitton Island and yes, the picture was taken only a few miles north-east of South Cave, near the village of Riplingham. Sunny Scunny would be in in the haze on the horizon. I'm pretty sure you could not have solved this one with Google search, so how did you recognise it?
Over to you.

I'm in England at the moment, and until the latest lockup have been walking the English/Welsh coast. So far I have done about 30% of it, including the Humber estuary. I only went as far upstream as the suspension bridge, but something about your photo was evocative of the area. Wikipedia conveniently has a list of islands in England, so it was a matter of finding one that was in the Humber estuary, not built up, muddy at one end but vegetated at the other, and with a city on a tributary nearby.

This one is in Wales:

Mmm, this is a hard one. I can't decide if this is castle, church or quarry related.

It is not castle- or church-related. It's not part of the quarrying industry, although it did depend on a small shallow quarry nearby (part of which can be seen as the dark "gully" at the top of the photo).

That's correct eggs, it's the old porcelain factory at Llanlleiana Beach. I like the curved walls (the coastal walls are to protect from stormy seas).

Impressive monoliths. I thought we had been here before but had difficulty reconciling it from that angle.

This is a tough one...
It was taken at 18.17 pm 2015 with a Sony DSC-W830 Cybershot Camera
The white buildings on the left indicate it could be in Los Angeles in the Hollywood Hills
even though it looks a lot like Montana.

The angle is a bit deceptive but I'm at sea level in Kihei on Maui looking up at the 10,000 foot Haleakalā summit and observatory.

Yoikers. As soon as I posted that I realised all my digital photos are only of well-known places. So this is a photo of a photo.

North America. Eh. (looking for region/park name only)

2 days with no progress, a clue might be in order. I'll take a WAG anyway, Glacier NP?

Not Glacier, John. I did add a subtle clue yesterday.

We were in Canada last September but didn't get further east than Banff etc.
Eventually I translated the "big and bleak", Gros Morne NP?

Correct commando, it's the Kilauea lava lake and crater.
I was there in 2015, so don't know how it now looks after the recent eruptions.
