Hadn't seen it or anything similar. It piqued my interest so I googled it to death and ended up at the site for the co. that constructed it.
So it's the BOM weather radar (C-band Doppler radar) for Hobart. Similar ones in QLD at Weipa and Mt Isa, and on South Goulburn Island NT.
And the Terrey Hills one up here I use online that looks like a teed up golf ball. Dunno why it never occurs to me to visit some of these things.

No it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Ours is working though . Not that it matters, I'm not going anywhere atm.
Testing your knowledge of obscurity Mark . Not Webster, I'm a fair distance from Mt Field area.
This tarn is unnamed, but very close to one or more things that that are.
Small clue in the background if you can find a wider shot.

On one of my photos I have it labelled "Tarn near Shadow Lake".
I vaguely thought it was the one shortly before Shadow rather than betwixt them, but we did visit both lakes and Little Hugel.
So I reckon you'll be correct NNW, and if not that's near enough anyway. All yours.
