Wrong side of the river. I thought it was just Faulkner when I took it but it may just be the top of Dromedary poking out

Can confirm that's the top of Dromedary poking out over the north eastern arm of Faulkner

From Dowsing Point?
Sat 04 Jul, 2020 5:40 pm
NNW was much closer
Sat 04 Jul, 2020 5:55 pm
Stanhope Point?
Sat 04 Jul, 2020 6:04 pm
Montague was much much closer. About a river's width
Sat 04 Jul, 2020 7:49 pm
Does that make it Pavilion Point?
Sat 04 Jul, 2020 8:59 pm
it does

It took a while and a bit of help from NNW. It's funny how you see what you want it to be. I was sure it was Mt Dromedary (no mistaking the '38 Chev going up the hill) but I thought there were reed beds on the other side of the bay at Dromedary - which turned out to be boats in Cornellian Bay. I can't say I've ever noticed Mt Dromedary from that far down the river, either.
Try this.

Sure is. First time I’ve done it, and what a lovely day it is too.

My first time was this year in a complete white out.
Interesting mountain though.

Marriott's falls? With very little water by the looks of it.
Sun 05 Jul, 2020 9:01 pm
Yes - and it appears there had been a large tree fall as well.

Didn't get to Massif, but you are close.

DuCane High Point? Looks like Massif in shot now I think of it.
