It may have been a few decades since I saw it without the mist. Is that Hayes?

This is the rock tower above Lake Cygnus on the way towards Hayes - which I think is also visible in the shot.

It is Hayes, tortoise was first but eggs named the location, so I guess it goes to eggs?

Descent into Window Pane Bay.
At least I hope you're going down, because climbing up that sand dune with a full pack would be more hellish than half an eternity spent on the eastern side of the Ironbounds.

Are you looking at Mersey Crag from the tarns S/SE of Turranna Bluff (but not the Long Tarns)?
Thu 10 Jun, 2021 12:29 pm
Good deduction. I was not far from Lake Lexie heading towards Long Tarns
