I suspect we've both been here eggs. Low Isles on the GBR off Port Douglas.

We did the same, lots of fish but no turtles. Found them on Fitzroy Island, on a different trip.

Probably, but I can't identify it. Maybe the Shoalhaven Gorge, but where?

By pure fluke I stumbled onto someone's trip report and photos.
Never been there but I think the first photo is Ettrema Gorge and the second could be Possibility Point.

Thanks. I'll try another brain teaser, just fix the lettering in the sign to complete the answer.

Similar latitude to the previous photo. A place of tunnels and mermaids.

Beecroft Headland. There's a photo of johnw's in the September 2010 photo comp from a similar location.

Well researched Tyreless, correct. Good grief, how long did it take to unearth that?
I'd long forgotten submitting that other comp photo and took a fair while to even re-locate it on here.
It's been 12 years, probably time for another walk there!

Not long - I googled Beecroft Headland and it was on the first page of results.

Continuing the theme, where was I yesterday, in NSW.

Correct - Otford Lookout. Parts of the Coast Walk are currently closed for repairs, but my route from Otford to Waterfall avoided those areas.

Yep that's it (well at least half of the big horseshoe bend) and the appropriately-named backbender buttress
