Is that the Cobberas?

Are you looking at Cleft Peak, from just north of the cobberas?

Yes - looks very similar to Breakaways - but I notice a track down the gully.
We were there 2 weeks ago but not long enough to see what tracks were around.

It does look very similar to the breakaways, but this is just about 100km away,

This is a series of hills in an artistic desert

Close enough, Painted desert / Arckaringa Hills, it's a bit of a detour from the Kembla road, but worth it.

Very generous. I looked at both and decided to go with the one that had the word "hills" rather than "desert". Consequently went the wrong way .
