The country in the background is partly cleared and has a few buildings dotted around. You appear to be looking west or south west. I'll take a wild stab at it and say you are looking towards the Black Range or Jenolan Range from somewhere over the Cox. However, I don't recognise that massive feature in the foreground.

A long way south of there Greg. I'm facing south and the Blue Mountains are in the distance behind me. There was a significant clue in my previous post.
This one is a little harder than usual. I'd be happy with the name of the valley/waterway below the massive feature, or the name of the well known feature behind me.
Or the name of the locality of the tableland I'm on.

Not near Lithgow. See clues in my previous posts, I'm south of the Blue Mountains.

If so it would be the Wanganderry Tableland.

No, but it's not far behind me. Hence the lame "pick" clue earlier.

GregG wrote:If so it would be the Wanganderry Tableland.

Yes, that will do it Greg. The main feature is unnamed but overlooks the Burnt Flat Creek valley.
It is possibly considered part of the Wanganderry Walls.

Thanks John but I think you are being a bit generous, I would have been in bother had I been the navigator on your walk.
Next up: the Premier State ( groan!). This is a designated creek crossing on a multi-day walk I was on last week but it rained, rained, rained ad nauseam, so I had to take the long way around to avoid the 5m surf on the sandbar crossing.

Very shrewd guess Crollsurf but no cigar. You are on the right walk though.

Here we are relaxing and drying-out after the walk ( that's me in the middle). Hint: the pictured creek crossing is north of here.

If you started from Yamba, that's quite a walk. Is it Monee Creek at Green Bluff?

Yes Crollsurf, I will pay that. It is Moonee Creek near Green Bluff headland. FYI The Big Banana is at Coffs Harbour not Yamba but what the heck, they are both great places.

Thanks, I thought that must have been the end of your walk (Yuraygir Coastal Walk), not the start. More NSW

Yes Seasons Greetings to all. Pretty quiet one here with only 3 of us for lunch.
Due to the Covid number restrictions can't do the extended family thing this year.
Looking forward to leaving for Jindabyne on Sunday for 10 days and a few day trips in the mountains.

With that thought in mind, can you guess what NSW peak I was on here in 2006?
