There is a more readily recognisable feature literally a stone's throw from here. I'll post a picture of that later if this clue isn't enough.

That will do :). The pile of rocks is Touga trig... literally a few 10's of meters away from the Tor.

Only easy if you know it. I have no idea but eventually googled a 2018 painting by Robyn Collier titled “The Old Jooriland Shearing Shed”, which looks similar.
I've been to Yerranderie a long time ago, if correct is it in that locality?

Well, yes and no. That's a very broad answer, not what I was looking for. The dam itself is some distance from me.
I should have specifically asked for the name of the background feature.

Are you looking west across Yurrunga Creek from about 1km north of Beehive Point, looking at the escarpment that runs behind Wombat Hill?

Otherwise sorry I have no idea.

Not Yarrunga Creek ribuck, though we did visit there as well. I will give it to you because you've pretty much nailed my location, which was the (harder) bonus question.
I'm on the Beehive Point Track/Trail looking towards Mount Skanzi. Over to you.

Thanks johnw. I had wondered whether your photo was of Mt Scanzi, but decided it wasn't because I couldn't remember as much cliffline on Scanzi. Wrong I was.

This one is in NSW. What's the name of the mountain?

The pinnacle at the top of your second picture looks like The Castle but I dont recognise the post-fires terrain in the foreground.

It was (what i think is) the track in the first photo that made me think shrouded gods... but now i think it might be the same track, but turned 180 degrees looking at Cole maybe?

Sorry GregG, it's not the Castle in the photo; just some random rock.

Well done fatboy, it is indeed Mt Cole, looking very different post-fires (and being much more pleasant again on top).
