I think you meant 2020? The previous answer was Red Cave from a different Hollow Mountain.

Yes, it was a typo. 2020 is correct. And as the caption for my photograph stated, the location was:
Red Cave from Hollow Mountain, northern end of Victoria Range, Grampians NP

Yes, I should have checked that. I quoted eggs' winning answer.

peregrinator wrote:Cervantes National Park.

Not the correct answer as there is no NP by that name. But I think you probably know the location. I'm looking for the name of the feature/s I'm walking amongst.

I should have included The Pinnacles in my answer. I checked an old atlas. It shows a Cervantes National Park. Whatever, it was instantly recognisable, even though I've not been there for decades.

The Pinnacles is correct, in Nambung NP. Very interesting place. Possibly the name has changed at some point as I couldn't find Cervantes NP online. Albeit we did stay overnight in Cervantes nearby. Back to you.

Eggs, Mt McDonald it is. Approaching it from the east on the AAWT, at a knoll with about two kilometres to go.

Assuming I'm correct anyone can go next. I'm on the train from Perth to Sydney via Adelaide. Don't know how long I'll have Wi Fi or signal in the desert.

Welcome to SA John. You should check out the autumn colours in the Mt Lofty Botanic gardens - just down the road.

Thank you eggs. Unfortunately only a whistle stop, here for a couple of hours. I did see some of the autumn colours as we went past the botanic gardens. The koalas decided to hide from us, possibly a little cool this morning. Heading back down the hill now to rejoin the train to Sydney. I have plans for a longer SA visit when we can schedule it. Did catch a glimpse of the foothills of the Flinders Ranges very early this morning.

p.s. And thank you for turning on some very nice weather for us eggs :)

Thanks John. I was visiting in early March. It was blowing a gale and we retreated to the Crafers Hotel for a fabulous lunch.

Next is in NSW.
