I am disturbed about getting this.
I have been on the Crinoline, but could not place the mountains in your first shot.
It was a long shot guess based on your last photo.
I presume you were looking south east? - But what was the closest peak?

At risk of being a pest - this was from NSW a week ago

There are 4WD and bike tracks all through Newnes and generally on higher ground, easy walking off-track. Down in the creeks, it's a different story for the most part

Correct. I wasn't able to cross it a year ago because it was closed due to structural concerns.
