Yes John I took that pic on the light to light walk about 5 years ago. Probably very different after the fires.

John, that would be the view from Butterbox Point. Looking at the cliffs of Walford Wall.

I'm guessing the photo is a few years old as there's a fresh landslide in that area now.

Yes not sure how that area faired. I think around Mt Imlay was pretty bad. Pre fires we had a day in Eden on a short cruise last November but didn't venture too far south.

Yes correct on both counts Tim. I haven't been out to the end of the Mt Hay Rd for a while. A bit cheeky posting that just after Tyreless' photo looking more or less at where I'm standing.

Walls Pass then? Although I'm not sure it's "much" more accessible than Carlon Head.

That's the spot Tyreless.

The area is part of the new Ngula Bulgarabang Regional Park which was created this year, after the NSW Government bought the entire Radiata Plateau to save it from a development that would have cut public access.

Good to see the government buying areas for parks. Same goes for the Galong Farm in Megalong Valley.

I took this photo on Sunday. Lovely spring day, excellent for walking. Also in NSW...

I haven't been down there, but I'm guessing it could be Redledge Pass?

Yes, it's Dunphys Pass. According to bushwalkingnsw.com (Tom Brennan), it was discovered in 1926 by a party including pioneer bushwalkers Myles Dunphy and Raphael Doyle. Over to you, johnw.

Well, maybe it could be a river. But perhaps an over-flow from a kitchen sink. Somewhere. Hang on, I'll just go and check whether I turned the tap off.
