Hmmm, there's no shortage of quartzite in the Shoalhaven...

Based on your other clues, could it be one of the falls in Cherry Tree Gully before it joins Boolijah Creek?

That's the one. I think Doughton's book has unofficially named it "Angled Falls"?

Yeah, I've been meaning to get there for years. The area near the junction looks really cool.

Another one from NSW. Name the creek I'm looking at.

Close enough Tireless. It is Wentworth Creek, but a few kilometres downstream of the loop. This was looking upstream from Linden Point.

Thanks FC, that's generous of you.

Next is NSW. Not much to go on in the photo, so the name of the waterway will do - brownie points for a more accurate location.

Could be lots of places in sandstone country.

It feels like lower Blue Mountains to me. Let's go with Glenbrook Creek as a guess.

It's in the lower Blue Mountains, but it's not Glenbrook Creek.

Looks a bit like the Lower Grose, maybe near Cabbage Tree Creek or thereabouts?

Thanks Tyreless. That chopper is very low, was there a rescue going on?

Something different. NSW, name the wreck and location:

John, it helps when you've actually been somewhere. That said, I've been to the location in Tyreless' last photo on at least two occasions and didn't get it, so the memory doesn't always work!

Here's another one from NSW. There's a well known feature in the image, but the area I'm standing also has an informal name.

No. Further north.

I'm not a named feature, but the area of cliffs I'm on has an informal name. There's a well known feature in the image though, but not from a common angle.

Yep, that's Donkey Mountain peaking out of the Wolgan Valley. I'm standing in an area that some call the Koopartoo Mesa. It's a few kms SE of the Red Rocks. A lovely area to explore.
