I actually think this one was post fire although it's not obvious in the photo. The outcrop in the photo isn't the top though...only part way up

Trust those maps because you are spot on.

Not long after the floods as you can tell by the water coloration, as it passes Sheehys creek Rd bridge.

The deck on the left makes a decent wine in tassie, even better beer, and some weird art.

Two good clues there, except that I don't think Knights Deck can be seen from Dingo Gap.

I would say it's Knights Deck from Cattle Dog, except that I wouldn't describe it as south of Singajingawell Creek.

Mt Moorilla will do, although the peak itself is out of view to the left (Moorilla deck is the name of the protrusion I was hinting at). Taken from where the traditional k2k route drops off the Gangerang Plateau (heading towards strongleg).

Thanks WFBW

I was *almost* in that spot last week - I took my kids for a 3 day walk from the walls, with the plan of having 2 nights at Dex's and the middle day exploring exactly that area. but the kids found it a bit of a slog on day 1 (I hadnt been since the fires, so was expecting a lot more shade along the ridges - then cloudmaker to Dex's is pretty thick scrub with lots of small Eucalypts crowding the track) and so wanted to split the return journey up over two days. Predicitably, when we got back to the only possible campsite with water (Rankin Gully) on day 2 they decided hot showers and cold milkshakes were incentive enough to push on to the car....

Anyway here's another one from NSW

Yes too easy. Around 2011 at the point where trackwork crosses one of the landslips. Back to you jonnosan.

I don't know but you're up pretty high. I'm inclined to say maybe looking along Kerries Ridge to Gungartan from the north?

I know it can't be, but it's amazing how much that looks like the Hayward ridge.

Eggs, is the name you're after the highest peak in the background, or the ridge in the foreground?
