It all looks ... different and unusual, for such a familiar place.

I'm going to make a wild guess and say that the part of Shrouded Gods that's in view is the rocky bit in the lower-left of the photo, and it's Darri Head in the right foreground. I have been wondering whether the fires will have opened up Darri Pass as a viable route again, after a few decades of it being virtually impenetrable.

Yep got there in the end. Looking down the Kilpatrick Ck valley across Hollands Gorge to Shrouded Gods, Donjon Mtn etc. Taken maybe 4-500m downstream from Sluice Box Falls, Mt Elliott on the right

Thanks, I have to thank everyone else for narrowing it down.

Still NSW, what am I looking at?

Is that the view of horseshoe falls from somewhere near Govett's Leap Lookout?

I think you are definitely in the right part of the BMs Jonnosan, I reckon it could be looking at Govetts from somewhere near Fortress L/O using a long lens.

You are both in the right valley but not Govetts or Horseshoe Falls.
I'm not at, or looking at, Govetts Leap, or Point Pilcher.
Greg is on the right track with Fortress and a zoom shot. But what falls am I looking at?

I'm not sure what that waterfall is called, but it's the one downstream of Arethusa Falls. Photo taken from the end of the ridge south of Darks Cave.

Correct all round Tim. I walked down to Dr Dark's Cave afterwards. I'm led to believe that it's informally known as Medusa Falls. Over to you.

It's a great little lookout. And nice to learn the name of those falls.

I'm not going to have a chance to find a photo for a day or two, so can someone else post?

I suggest that GregG posts as next closest, otherwise jonnosan. Both were in the right vicinity.

It's a pass off Narrowneck, right? I will hazard a guess that it's Redledge Pass, even though the ledge doesn't look very red.

I'm very envious Ribuck, good on you. I guess this means we can anticipate some challenging Where-am-I (International) pictures in the future.

So here's a spot in NSW.

This is one of those frustrating ones where I think I've been there but can't quite place it.
I've mentally travelled from the Glow Worm Tunnel to the Blair Athol Mine to the Boxvale Tramway to Cave Creek.
Don't believe it's any of those so let's try to narrow it down. Is it in the Blue Mountains Greg?

Maybe it looks familiar because you have been there but there are also lots of pictures of this spot on the web. And yes, there is a tunnel not very far from this location.

I think this could be The Dry Canyon/Nobles Canyon near the Glow Worm Tunnel.
I may have done it but it would be many years ago.

Hmmm, I am starting to think we need a handicap system.. haha, John, you a right again. I tried to make that a hard one too. I went up to Dry Canyon middle of last year, quite good value for what it is viz. an easy walk. Went on from there and did the usual Glow Worm Tunnel and Old Coach Road loop.
But I'm sorry to say John: back to you.

Thank you Greg, I really need to get back out that way again.

NSW, this might be hard or very easy. I'm not sure which.
General location is good enough. Bonus points if you know what it is or its history:
