I guess it is time for a hint?

There have been lots of trip reports in this southern Queensland National Park over the years on this site.

I've visited a few spots in southern QLD but have no idea.
Let's open the bidding with Upper Portals, Mt Barney.

Maybe somewhere in Main Range NP? I've only been to the Cunninghams Gap area, which doesn't fit the last clue.
Not much to go on, I assume it's a dry named waterfall?

I'm guessing that means sundown... but have never been there and can't elaborate on the location?

Sundown is right but someone should have a guess at the gorge, probably the most popular walk in the park and more than one report on this site.

The rocks look shoalhavenish, so I'm guessing a tributary. Bungonia Creek perhaps?

@ribuck. Not cattle, likely pig.

@wfbw. Not the Jenolan but your getting closer.

It's a bit of a spooky location. Not only because there was a lot of mist about that day.

@wfbw You have the right river. Now to narrow it down. I will reveal on my accent back to the cars I passed by a tribute to one of bushwalking's favourite sons.

Correct. I was camping by the Kowmung R with Ghosts Ridge above. I ascended the ridge, going over Ghost Mountain and passing Mt Pallin on my way back to the car

Over to you WFBW.
