OK so let's try and narrow it down. You're on the main range. It looks like somewhere over towards the western fall.
Are you north of Mt Twynam?

It is really not that hard, I will hold off with the main clues for a while to see if others can get it.

I will give one clue, the white bits on the horizon on the right are the Victorian snow fields.

A clue, have a very careful look at the photo on the lower half of the right side and depth of field in photos can be deceptive sometimes.

I'd say you are on Gungartan looking back towards the main range. I can make out Kosi and the Abbott Range, Townsend etc in the far distance.

Your are right John, I am on top of Mt Gungartan 2068 meters, I think it might be considered The 11th highest peak. The day was clear and windless we where snowshoeing in light thermals.

Over to you.

Thanks Tony. I know it's in the top 20 as it's on my list of those unclimbed, which is only a few remaining now. I did attempt it years ago but pulled out at Schlink Pass as the ground was too fire damaged to continue in good conscience. Just off to a meeting for an hour, I'll post a new one when I get back.

OK I'm back. Next one is in VIC. Should be easy I think, so I'd like the name of the watercourse and location.

A lot of hits but no guesses. I'll give a clue, I'm probably less than 3 km from the centre of a much visited town.
I'm looking for the name of the town and the river.

Well that did suggest something.

Is it a foot bridge over the Ovens River at Bright?

Yes, it's the suspension bridge towards the western end of the Canyon walk along the Ovens River at Bright. Isoma and eggs you're both correct but Isoma was first by a few minutes. Your turn.

Ok well let's keep it coastal and in SA. A nice hike in a national park.

Ah Cape Catastrophe near Memory Cove, a cool little place in Lincoln National Park, it looks a little similar. Nope. But like Cape Catastrophe, the nearby coastline of the photo has also seen a few shipwrecks, which might not narrow it down since there have been about 700 shipwrecks along SA's coast.

I think it would be good to remember that Sth Aus has a rather large island as part of its coastline.

Encounter Bay is near Victor Harbor, Coffin Bay is on the Eyre Peninsula nearish to Cape Catastrophe & Port Lincoln. So neither is correct. Coffin Bay, Cape Catastrophe and Encounter Bay were all named by the English Matthew Flinders. The photo was taken in an area which has predominately French names, much being named by the French Nicolas Baudin (Flinders and Baudin encountered each other at Encounter Bay, they had a civil scientific exchange despite their respective countries being at war on the other side of the world, but this isn't a clue :? )
