A bit further down then. I'm pretty sure you're looking towards Brickyard Point at Austinmer.
Which would put you on one of the tracks around Sublime Point. Going by SIX Maps the only named track is "Lookout Walking Track".
I haven't been there for some time and can't remember the signage, are you on the one that goes down the ladders?

EDIT: Referring back to an old sketch map in one of my guide books. At the bottom of the ladders part of it may have been called "Gibson Track" (might still be).
When the full circuit existed, between uphill from Austinmer and the escarpment, before a major landslip closed it, the bulk of it was labelled "Bulli Lookout Track".

Hmmm, intriguing.

Hang in there John and we’ll see if anybody else pitches in. Some conjecture here.

Ok, my bad...That’s right John the “Forest path” it is...apparently?...looking down on Brickyard or Headlands pub.

As far as I knew we always called it the Wodi Wodi track, not just that small loop indicated.

So Crollsurf might be right too with that escarpment deal? Maybe you two can enter a duel of some sort to see who goes next.

Yes, I think these names have evolved over time and may also have local preferences. So a bit more research, wasn't 100% before, but now I think I'm correct.
It appears various entities, including NPWS, now consider the Forest Path/Forest Walk/Forest Track to run between (close to) Austinmer and Stanwell Park railway stations.
The full length of it now appears to incorporate the Wodi Wodi track, Forest Path, Woodward track and Sublime Point track. I've walked all of those, thinking them separate.

The Upper Escarpment Trail that crollsurf mentioned looks to be multi-use and runs between Woonona Mountain and Brokers Nose FT. The MTB crowd have it well documented.

So, moving on. NSW, I took this in 2003. Where am I standing?

Upper Nattai, with Ahearns in the distance and Colong on the horizon. Not where from though.... definitely the western side of the highway, maybe somewhere around Mt Flora?

Yes Michael, that's close enough. Per my old Sloss guidebook I'm at the end of the Westbreak Trail at Westbreak Lookout.
A long time ago, but from memory we then descended "Craigs Pass" to the junction of Stockyard Creek and the Nattai.

Awesome bird photo :). I suspect you might be on the Coast Track in RNP. Can't pin an exact spot though.

Coast Track it is. This spot is known as Cormorant Rock, it's on the old section of the Coast track north of The Cobblers. Wasn't sure if anyone would get the name as it is not an official name. Couldn't believe it when we got there and all those Cormorants were lined up like that.

Over to you John.

Thanks Michael, I know that section of the old track pretty well, but not that name. A couple of other features in the vicinity worth seeking out.
Another spot I've seen a large group of cormorants is Pool Flat at Audley.
