Blue Mountains overnighter suggestions?

Postby pok » Fri 06 Jul, 2012 11:31 am

Hi folks

I had planned to do the K2K but with our group and our timeframe it might just be a little too long.

Any suggestions for a good overnighter? One of us has a gummy knee so flatter is better, but it's not a huge deal. I've done a search here, but it seems to be either a lot of single day walks or 3 days +.

I'd prefer to stay off the Six Foot Track. :)

Thanks in advance!

Try the threads "New to it" 12/6/12 and "Best Overnight Walks Near Sydney" 31/3/12.
This is a pretty good starting point, just depends how many hills you wish to avoid.

How about a walk out to Mobbs Swamp and a dash up to Splendour rock to make it worthwhile. About 29k's return all up, mostly fire trail (If you go that way) with some undulations.
