Yuragir Coastal Walk: Angourie to Shelley Beach is closed?

NSW NPWS reports that "The walking track between Mara Creek and Shelley Headland is closed until further notice for bushfire recovery work."

Does that mean it's impossible to currently walk south from Angourie on the Yuragir Walk? I was hoping to head off from Angourie this weekend for a couple of nights...

Thanks in advance...

The track itself is closed but the beaches & rocky shoreline are open.
Isn't there also a inland 4wd track that can bypass that section too ?

River crossing contact details have also been updated since I last looked...Image

Thanks, I'll have a closer look, otherwise I'll drive to Lake Arragan and walk up to Shelley from there.

I walked down to Shelley Beach last weekend.
A section of the track is closed and being rebuilt, but if you keep to the beach from Angourie, you'll bypass it.

Thanks, it went well. Made it to Shelley Beach for Friday night, then on to Brooms Head on Saturday, then back to Angourie on Sunday. A great weekend, especially nice having Shelley Beach to myself.
