Uni Rover Track & Hatches Hollow

Postby kosta » Tue 15 Jun, 2021 10:07 pm

Hi,
does anyone know the conditions of the Uni Rover Track - Hatches Hollow - Despond Ridge area out in Kanangra at the these days? I'm thinking about doing this walk https://bushwalkingnsw.com/walk.php?nid=818 but I'm wondering whether scrub and fallen trees will make it too slow going for an enjoyable winter trip. Especially since there don't seem to be good options to cut the trip short.

I've heard from reasonably reliable sources that hatchers hollow has virtually disapeared in the weeds.:(

Uni rover also has significant regrowth from a report from a seperate trip.

I'm not sure how recent the visits was though.. but certainly after the fires/floods.

Not sure about despond ridge etc.

Thanks. I think I'll wait until the days are a bit longer to go on an adventure out there.
